Well, I was impressed at the time, and I think I liked the idea
(narration-wise).

This gave to the event an even sadder impression, IMO.

Misato has an automatic, beretta/glock-like gun, Kaji was killed with
a short-barrel revolver with a sideways laser sight. In a gloved,
male-looking hand. It's made pretty clear by the appropriate pages
that it wasn't Misato who killed him.
