I was on an Eva panel about 2 weeks ago at Anime
Central con with Tiffany Grant (and Carl Horn), and
Grant made a comment begging the audience not to ask
her what color Asuka's eyes are at the end of The End
of Evangelion. Then she said, 'I don't understand
where this all is coming from?' to which I told her to
listen to the DVD commentary. Granted this theory was
around long before the American DVD, but AWL's inane
commentary track did nothing but revive it, and give
it a misplaced sense of legitimacy.

Bah.
